What We Handle

Every Type of Car Accident Case
in New York

🚗

Rear-end collisions

The most common NYC accident type. Liability is typically clear. We document your injuries and fight for full compensation including future medical costs.

🚗

Intersection accidents

T-bone and angle collisions cause serious injuries. We subpoena traffic camera footage and signal data to establish fault.

🚗

Hit and run

Your own uninsured motorist coverage and MVAIC (Motor Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corp) provide recovery paths even when the at-fault driver flees.

🚗

Multi-vehicle pileups

Complex liability with multiple insurers. We coordinate all claims simultaneously to maximize your total recovery.

🚗

Pedestrian and cyclist knockdowns

Struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian or cyclist? You have the same rights as any accident victim — and NYC juries are sympathetic.

🚗

Commercial vehicle accidents

Delivery trucks, rideshare vehicles, and commercial fleets carry substantial commercial insurance. We go after the full policy.

Car Accident Questions
We Hear Every Day

How long do I have to file a car accident lawsuit in New York?+

Three years from the date of the accident under CPLR §214. But your no-fault PIP application must be filed with your own insurer within 30 days of the accident. And if a government vehicle was involved, a Notice of Claim is required within 90 days.

New York is a no-fault state — can I still sue?+

Yes — if your injuries meet the serious injury threshold under Insurance Law §5102(d), including fractures, permanent limitation, or 90 days of disability in the first 180 days. We evaluate your injuries against the threshold in the free consultation.

What if the other driver has no insurance?+

Your own policy's Supplementary Uninsured Motorist (SUM) coverage applies. New York requires at least $25,000 SUM coverage. We pursue every available source of recovery, including your own policy.

Should I talk to the other driver's insurance company?+

No. Their adjuster's job is to minimize your payout. Do not give a recorded statement before speaking to us. You are not legally required to do so.

The Problem

Whole Foods Charges a Premium
for Claims It Can't Always Back Up.

Whole Foods built its entire brand on trust — premium prices justified by premium standards. When those standards aren't met, and you paid extra based on that promise, New York's consumer protection law protects you. Since Amazon acquired Whole Foods in 2017, product quality concerns have increased significantly.

365 by Whole Foods Market

Whole Foods' store brand carries extensive "organic," "natural," and "clean ingredient" promises. Several products in this line have faced class action litigation over labeling accuracy, ingredient sourcing, and pesticide presence.

Post-Amazon Acquisition Quality Issues

Since Amazon's 2017 acquisition, multiple consumer advocacy groups and former Whole Foods suppliers have documented declining product standards — while prices and organic marketing claims have remained unchanged.

Case Types We Handle

Whole Foods Consumer Cases

🥩

Mislabeled Meat & Seafood

Fish mislabeled as premium species, meat falsely labeled "grass-fed," seafood with false origin claims.

🌾

False Organic Produce

Conventionally grown produce sold at organic prices with organic signage or labeling.

🫙

Prepared Food Labeling

Hot bar, salad bar, and packaged prepared foods with inaccurate ingredient or allergen information.

🧀

Weight & Measure Fraud

Whole Foods has paid $500K+ to NYC over improper weights on pre-packaged foods. If you were overcharged, you have a claim.

🤕

Food Illness & Contamination

E. coli, salmonella, listeria, or other contamination from Whole Foods prepared or packaged products.

🏷️

Supplement Misrepresentation

Vitamins and supplements sold at Whole Foods that misrepresent ingredients, potency, or efficacy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whole Foods charged me more than the posted price. Is that a legal claim?

Yes. In 2015, NYC's Dept. of Consumer Affairs fined Whole Foods $500,000 for systematically overcharging customers through inaccurate weight labeling on pre-packaged foods. If you were overcharged, you have a claim under GBL § 349 and potentially for common law fraud.

I got sick from Whole Foods prepared food. Who do I sue?

You can sue Whole Foods directly. Prepared food sold at Whole Foods is a Whole Foods (and Amazon) product regardless of whether a third party supplied ingredients. We handle food illness claims including medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

Does it matter that I shopped at Whole Foods as a Prime member with a discount?

No. The Prime member discount doesn't waive your right to accurate labeling. You still paid a premium over conventional grocery stores based on Whole Foods' organic and natural claims. The discount doesn't legitimize deceptive labeling.

Can I sue both Whole Foods and Amazon?

In most cases, yes. Amazon owns Whole Foods Market, Inc. Depending on the nature of your claim, both entities may have liability. We evaluate every Whole Foods case for all available defendants.
