How we handle the information you share with us. The short version: we collect only what we need, we do not sell it, and we keep it as secure as we reasonably can.

The short version

We only collect the information we need to respond to you and help with your potential case. We do not sell your personal information. We keep it as secure as we reasonably can, and we only share it with people who help us serve you.

What we collect

When you contact us through a form, by phone, or by email, we collect what you give us — typically your name, phone number, email, language preference, and a short description of what happened. If you use this website, we also automatically collect basic technical information like your browser type, general location, and which pages you viewed, through standard analytics tools.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to you, evaluate whether we can help, communicate about a potential or active case, improve this website, and meet our professional and legal obligations. We do not use it for anything you would not reasonably expect from a law firm you contacted.

How we share it

We share your information only with service providers who help us run the firm and this site — for example, our email, phone, scheduling, and analytics providers — and only so they can do that work for us. If your case calls for trial counsel at another firm, we will discuss that with you first. We may also share information when the law requires it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for someone else's advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use it so we can make it better. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them may change how some parts of the site work.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is ever perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything highly sensitive until we have a signed agreement and a secure way to communicate.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us, plus any period our professional obligations require. After that, we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honor reasonable requests to the extent the law and our professional duties allow. To make a request, call (212) 300-3191 or email intake@callcuz.com.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
