Terms of Use.
Plain-language terms for using this site. The short version: this site is information, not legal advice — and reaching out to us is not the same as hiring us.
Who we are
This website is published by Madison Law Firm PLLC, which markets its personal injury services as CallCuz. Our principal office is at 579 Fifth Avenue, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10017. You can reach us at (212) 300-3191 or intake@callcuz.com.
This site is information, not legal advice
Everything on this site is general information about legal topics. It is not legal advice, and reading it does not make you our client. Every case is different, and only a lawyer who has reviewed the specific facts of your situation can advise you. Do not act — or decide not to act — based only on what you read here.
Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship
Filling out a form, sending an email, or calling us does not by itself make you our client. We become your lawyers only after we have both signed a written agreement. Until that happens, please do not send us confidential or time-sensitive information, and understand that we may not be able to keep what you send fully confidential.
Deadlines matter
Legal claims have strict time limits, and missing one can permanently end your right to recover. Nothing on this site stops the clock on your case. If you think you may have a claim, contact a lawyer right away rather than waiting.
Using this site
You may read and share this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or reuse our content, design, or brand marks for your own business without our written permission. The CallCuz name, logo, and related marks belong to Madison Law Firm PLLC.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to other websites for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
No guarantees
We work hard, but no lawyer can promise a particular result, and prior results do not predict or guarantee how any future case will turn out. We provide this site "as is" and do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date.
Cases we may refer out
We handle many matters directly. For some cases — including those that require a lawsuit — we may work with trial counsel at another firm under an arrangement that keeps us jointly responsible to you. We will always tell you, in writing, before that happens, and your decision about who represents you is always yours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after we make changes, that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, call us at (212) 300-3191 or email intake@callcuz.com. We are happy to explain.
